«Istanbul (not Constantinople)»

«Istanbul (not Constantinople)»: This was the title of a 1950s novelty song about the city on the Bosphorus, sung by “The Four Lads”. While the band may joke about changing place names, we know from our daily work the extent to which Constantinople remains a part of Istanbul and how much Orient is still in the Occident. The Turkish language is not without its quirks, and there are numerous formulations and words with influences from the Ottoman, Arabic, Persian or French languages. What is more, there are no synonyms for most concepts, rather there is “Old Turkish” and “New Turkish”. And, in most sectors of industry, it’s something in between. Sound complicated? Not for us. We translate your texts so that they resonate with your intended audience: modern, authentic and in keeping with the times. Ultimately, our objective is to overcome language barriers and build bridges between cultures. Our team of experienced translators has a thorough grasp of the nuances and cultural intricacies of the languages spoken in Istanbul and throughout Türkiye. How can we assist you?
